oh no! Not the flu! :(

I seriously have not been sick sick in forever! I can't even remember the last time I got the Flu. Well lucky me was up all last night getting sick. :( I feel like I got hit by a truck it's horrible! Looks like my New Years is going to be spent in bed with a bottle of Ginger Ale by my side. Took a pic oh what my day looked like at my parents house from the couch, ha. In my fav pj primp shirt. lol Really funny I just realized you could see what I'm watching in the pic. It's actual the Other Boleyn Girl. Such a great movie.. I'm always on the go so this is really hard for me to sit and do nothing. I swear my life's lesson is to learn patience. I can't even chill when I have the flu. Drives me crazy! I had a dinner meeting this evening that I obviously can't goand it's driving me up a wall that I can't be there. My dad is actually my business partner so he went for me and will fill me in when he gets home. Worst part of this and I felt so bad I gave the flu to my mom :( whoopsie. I felt sooo bad! I hate seeing my mom sick. I'm just glad that it's happening now that I got sick right before the new year because my sch is pretty full steam ahead come Jan. Even though it is the flu I should be thankful so any time I get to just lay down and sleep.

I have to sweetest cousin to! Before my sister stepped out of the house my cousin missy meet her in front and dropped off a little gift for me. SOO SWEET! Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE Hello Kitty! Missy had bbm'd early in the day to see how I was feeling and I was half out of it but saw that she asked if I had the Hello Kitty toaster. I just wrote no and next thing I know it's in my lap. Thanks Miss that was a cute surprise! Love you!

So now all I can do is sit and wait to hear how these meetings went. Roy my manager is also at a different HUGE HUGE meeting tonight! Waiting to hear feedback from them is going to be killing me. haha

Alrighty off to get more ginger ale in me. ;)

Zaj Entertainment

Hope if you were on the east coast that you were bundled up today! It felt like the coldest day of the winter so far. Despite the cold I had really great a positive day! I met today to talk about the branding of my entertainment company and it felt amazing. While we were sitting in the meeting we got some great news about some licensing deals for "Let You Know"! It's such a great feeling to see everything that I'm working for grow and actual become real right before my eyes. I'm so proud of my team and everything that we are doing together. I'm so happy to say that it really feels like a family. Zaj Entertainment is growing and the new year is starting off with big things!

Down Time

The holidays so far have been great! Even though I'm "off" Roy my manager and I have still been working through email.. We're gearing up and getting ready for the new year which seriously I feel like I'm going to blink my eyes and the week is going to fly by. We're finishing the rest of the album as soon as the holidays are over and we even have a cover song which I'm really excited about. Not going to spill the beans yet on whcih one it is but the lyrics of this song are sooo pretty! Driving back from a studio session with Gary Pine before Christmas Roy and I had the song on repeat the whole way back to the city. lol One of my producers and live sound engineer Hector has been working on the track and sending the ideas over to me and I can't stop listening to it even though they are just rough drafts!

Really cool both my hairstylist and choreographer and reallyyy good friends of mine Amalia Moscoso and Kevin Maher's Birthdays were on the 24th! Their to cool it would be that they would have their bdays on the same day! lol Love them to pieces!

I'm sitting right now with my mom in her bedroom playing with the photo booth on the mac.. haha Hope everyone's christmas was amazing! We had sooo much food last night I had the worst stomach ache when we got home but it was all worth it! Christmas Eve we had dinner at home and then went up to my Uncle's house in Greenwich and on Christmas day we spent it with my mom's sister. Both of them cooked up a storm. ;) Everyone right now at my mom's is still in a food coma. lol Noone really has come out of their rooms yet.

The new year is around the corner.. I can't believe how fast 2009 has come and gone. There are a lot of exciting things lined up for me and my team in the new year. I can't wait to get started!! I'm def liking and going to take advantage of the time off that I do have to spend it with my family and get as much r&r as I can. I'm going to need it...

I'm excited to say that finally the wait is over and "Souvenirs" will be kicking off the new year! :D Thank you so much for all your messages! It means so much seeing everyone's excitement about the new material and when its coming out. You all have been so amazing to me and everyday there are more surprises and exciting things happening to me.

In the ring!

Just got in from the sunflower children's gala event and it was something else! Dad, Roy Victor and I had a great time! The muay thai matches were incredible to watch! I have never seen a match in real life before. I think we have some footage of me singing the national anthem that we'll post up for you all to see of course. I would def love to come back and be apart of any Sunflower Children's events they really are amazing I can't say it enough! I left early though because I had such a long day :) I really wanted to stay and see the fashion show but my feet couldn't take it anymore. haha  

This morning before the gala I had my Giant Magazine photoshoot. It was shot my Emir Erlap and seriously must have been the easiest and quickest shoot I have ever done. lol I'm really looking forward to seeing the issue when it comes out in Jan.! woohooo Here's some clips that my manager Roy took from on set.. 

Sunflower Children's Gala Event

Coming up this Friday at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC I am going to be singing the national anthem for the Sunflower Children's organization. Lately I have been really fortunate to be involved in some really amazing children's charities and organization's and everyone one that I do it special to me. This particular one is going to be hosting by Russel Simmon's and Jamie Gold! It's going to be Monte Carlo in NY; the 3rd annual poker, fashion and sports gala which benefits Sunflower Children's "Save A Baby" campaign as well as Sunflower Children of the world fund . The event is also honoring music legend Quincy Jones! No pressure on singing the national anthem ;) haha

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Hope everyone had an amazing Halloween! :D Just wanted to share with you a pic of my costume this year.. As some of you guys may know I am a Halloween fanatic and I'm so bummed that it's already over haha But this year I was a vampire. Vampire's were and still are a big theme going on in Hollywood this year. True Blood is actually one of my fav TV shows and yes I am a fan of the twilight saga and have read the books! lol 

Makeup artist Victor Henao seriously did an amazing job on my makeup!! I had this whole idea for like a lace vail and we decided to actually do it in makeup covering over one eye instead of putting the lace actually on my face. It looked sick! I have to track down the pics of that side of my face though. lol  Well here it is, my version of a vampire.

Star Magazine's 5th Anniversary Party

Star Magazine's 5th Anniversary Party! Just wanted to throw up some pics from inside.. My choreographer Kevin Maher and I were being hams for the camera.. lol  I love him so much he's amazing! :D  Another amazingly sweet guy is Gilles Marini! He was so funny! A woman came over to ask me a few questions and he grabbed her notebook to write down my answers.  Make sure you guys all tune in and vote for him on Dancing with the Stars! And yes ladies he is as dreamy in person as he looks in TV ;) lol 

9th Annual Hollywood Style Awards

Sunday night was the 9th annual Hollywood Style Awards.. Hollywood Life was sweet enough to ask me since I was attending the event if I would also be the Trophy Girl for the evening. I'm a fashion nut so this event was a lot of fun to attend because of all the crazy and chic outfits that were walking to red carpet that night! My Favorite part of the evening was meeting David LaChapelle. He seriously is a genius photographer and even cooler to find out is just a really sweet laid back guy. Pamela Anderson presented him his style award. She is larger then life, pardon the pun. lol 

Tonight is Star Magazine's 5th Anniversary Party. The coolest part about this trip if my baby brother Matt flew in on Sat. with my manager Roy and has been coming to all the events that I'm doing out here with me. It's been really amazing having him hanging with me as when I'm in New York I don't get to see him everyday. I wish my other siblings could have made the trip this week to. That would have been over the top and made me the happiest girl in the world! I love them! Kisses and Hugs and all my love Nick and Cat from the west coast!! I'll see them when I get back next week though ;) Sound like I'm not going to see them for months or something . haha 

So I'm going to go relax for a little bit as I have another fitting with my stylist Taylor to finalize what we are wearing tonight. Bummer is its raining in LA right now!! I know didn't think LA knew what rain was.. Apparently I brought some NY weather their way this trip. Hope it doesn't follow me home ;) 

Welcome to the Carnival

Hey guys!! While I'm on the plane to LA right now (lovee Virgin America wi-fi!) I figured I would upload some of the photos from last nights event for you all. Last night was the grand opening of Carnival downtown on university. The place is REALLY cool! It's  a lounge-y type place carnival themed of course which makes for a cool atmosphere. The people who work there are look like circus performers. There were people on stilts and they even had a freak show were the acts swallowed swords and freakishly hammered nails into their noses. Wild I know! haha But you can also play games while you spit you cocktail. I tested my strength on that strong man thing where you hit the block with the gavel. Did it all in my Marc Jacobs dress ( who was gracious enough to dress me for the event) and my fav YSL platforms ;) lol Paris Hilton hosted the event to. Oh and how cute is Bentley the chimp! He looked like a little baby!! LOl I wanted to take him home with me I couldn't take it how adorable he was with his little bottle! haha All in all we had a fun evening! I hardly got any sleep because I had to head to the airport at 5am to catch my 7 oclock flight out to LA LA Land.. lol I've just been surfing the net catching up on some down time since the flight is so long and practically o.d-ing on green tea. 

Want to give a shout out to Victor Henao for hooking up my fab makeup for the evening! My new obsession are those lashes! For those of you who are makeup crazy they are MAC #35, AMAZING! and Belinda Zollo for the sexy hair she dolled me up with for the event. and I can't thank Marc Jacobs enough for dressing me! I was such a happy girl as when I was leaving they gave me a gift, SHOES!! :D I will post a pic of them their on my cell. They are totally funky and fun! 

I'll check in with you guys when I touch down in LA. I have a fitting 2nite with my stylist Taylor. Were pulling looks for the Hollywood Style awards and Star 5th anniversary party. Well report in and let you know how its going. Can't wait! love you guys!!

Wanted to share this with you all. I'm really looking forward to Plush Salon's Pink Hair for Hope charity that I'm hosting on October 21st. This week I've just been busy running around as usual. haha I'm heading to LA friday morning so it's been extra nutty getting ready head out to the west coast. I have a few red carpet events that I'm doing out there on top of magazine meetings and popping in on some radio stations while I'm in town. Really exciting stuff it's an amazing time for me right now! =) Before I head out I have an event in the city on Thurs. night for the grand opening of www.CarnivalNYC.com at Bowlmor Lanes in the Upper West Side. There is a special celebrity host so I can't spill the beans till after the event. =( I'm going to be exhausted as I have to catch my flight at 7am the next morning. haha

Right now I'm trying to upload the pictures from the Hopes and Heros charity event that I did last week. My dad came to the event that night and brought his camera but I haven't been able to upload them yet cause the cord was at my parent house. I'm looking for it right now actually.. =/

Hope and Heros

I'm really excited for tonight because I was asked to host an amazing event at Hudson Terrace that I wanted to share with all of you. Tonight is the GLAM fashion show for the Hope and Hero's Children Cancer Fund that is presented by the Silver Lining Society. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Silver Lining they are group of active young people who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children who are living with cancer. All the proceeds for this event will go to the Hope and Hero's Children's Cancer fund which support the Herbert Irving Child and Adolescent Oncology Center of Columbia University Medical Center. Along with the fashion show Lucas Prata will be performing so all in all this is going to make for an amazing evening!

40/40

I had a BLAST last night! The VMA 40/40 after party was behind fun! I was hanging w. my publicist Joyce Sevilla, Mike Rooney & my good friend Lea Palmieri who is one of the producers for Cosmo on Sirius/XM. One of my insanely talented backup dancers Tre Holloway was chilling at the party to! Was a nice surprise since we've had off for a little bit. 

I decided to try something new for the red carpet and went with a fun bob that Belinda Zollo did for me =) She's amazing! The dress was Donna Karen and the shoes were Jimmy Choo. They were comfy to which was a plus. Last minute I decided to wear this dress and was scrambling for shoes with my sister Cat up in Weschester while I was visiting the fam earlier in the day. lol Glad I found them! What do you guys think? :)

"Souvenirs" Rough footage

Hey guys!! Day 1 of shooting the "souvenirs' video went INSANE!! we got such amazing takes!!! Not that I didn't expect it to be amazing but seriously the stuff we shot today was soooo much more then I could have even imagined! When you see everything come together it amazed me every time! This is def my fav hands down! My manager took some video footage and uploaded it on youtube from one of the last setups of that day. I am going to tell you there are surprises in the video but I am not going to spoil the fun for ya.. Check out the rough footage and enjoy! I'm going to head off to bed to get some rest before day 2 tomorrow. We are shooting in this insane penthouse in the royalton hotel. I feel in love with it when we went for the walk through. Breathtaking! All my dancers ROCKED the hell out of the routine today! I love them all they are amazing! We were shooting a tun of behind the scenes stuff and will be getting more tomorrow to so you can get to see how much fun we all have together were like a little family. =)

5, 6, 7, 8!!

I just got in from rehearsals! My feet are screaming but today was such an amazing day!! We were shooting the 2nd day of behind the scenes for the show and my choreographer Kevin had invited some people in the industry to come and watch to put more pressure on us.. haha What was really cool was that half way through rehearsals we decided to let the people in the hallway outside come in and get a 1st look at the show. They loved it!! Made me feel so good! We have been working our butts off and seriously it looks bananas! Everyone was so sweet I enjoyed doing it for them. My fav was this little girl Danielle who came in and watched. She was rehearsing in the room next door and her mother was sitting outside watching through the window into the room. Her face when she saw the show was exactly what we needed. She reminded me of when I was her age and how much I loved performing and just wanted to soak in everything and learn all that I could about everything entertainment! I gave her a copy of the "Let You Know" single I'm so happy there was one with us. haha 

I'm going to be posted the behind the scenes up I think in the next day or so. The video crew is going to be editing everything together now. 

We have about a week off from rehearsals until coming back in for the video shoot rehearsals. My sch is  JAMMED the next coming weeks. Back to back rehearsals, video shoot, going out to Atlantic City for a day in between all that then back in for the final rehearsal before the shows start! I hope anyone who can come got their tickets for the party 105 WDRE MEGAJAM show!! It's going to be sick! 

ok, I'm off to decompress from todays craziness. Tonight I am going again with Kevin to Rhapsody's show Siren's Assassins! IT WAS AMAZING!! Her vision and choreography for that show blew me away. Can't wait to go again!! ;)

Wow I feel off the updating bandwagon the last 2 weeks! =/ I was just sitting here listening to a remix that Mike Rizzo did from me for my single "Let You Know" It is INSANE!!!! I love hearing remixes of my songs! This one is def top of the list of my favs! 

When I was in rehearsals today I got an email from my PR telling me that I was in OK online Magazine in the spotted section. They were talking about me being seen on the Bullrun Rally.. haha too cool! =P

I will upload some pics from the rally really soon! My camera is in my glove box and the car is on a truck heading back from Austin now. I think it gets back tomorrow so they are coming I promise.. lol

Heading home..

I'm sitting on the airplane right now sipping my green tea.. haha LOVEE virgin america! haha I'm really tired though. I'm actually starting to get a headache but for some reason I can't get to sleep. I was just looking at the www.party105.com website and the tickets for the MEGAJAM concert go on sale this monday July 6th at 10am!! That's also my birthday!! =P Head to their website for details and go get yourself some tickets to what is sure to be an amazing show! There are a tun of other amazing artist that are performing and I'm soooo thrilled to be sharing the stage with all of them! "Let You Know" got it 1st spin yesterday morning on their station so make sure you tell everyone you know to call in and request it! =) I'll be performing it that night as well! Seriously had an AMAZING time on the shoot today!! Everyone worked their butts off and it really could not have gone any better!! I enjoyed everyone we laughed and had a ball the whole time! Wanted to share some behind the scenes shots I got on my camera. Can't wait to get the pics back and share them with all of you!

The Other tow pics are with 2 of my fierce Publicist Alexis Wallsh and Lauren Magboo! We're missing pics with Joyce Sevilla and my Valeria Carrasco. The girls took shifts coming to the shoot. LOVE you guys!! You are the best! You rocked out today for me!!!!!! big kisses and hugs to all my girls!! =) 

Tomorrow afternoon its back to the NY. I hope it not raining by the time I get back home. I've out in LA for the whole week and its been nothing but sunshine and simply perfect weather. I'll be back soon though ;) 

It's shoot day!

Woohoo Finally the day is here! Today is the big photoshoot for all my press pictures!! I got up and took my shower and let me just tell you the fake bake looks unbelievable! haha It's totally even & golden! I just ordered some tea and driving myself crazy looking for my ipod wire to charge it a little more before we head out.. I have to be at the studio at 9am. I have about and hour before I have to get over there. Oh, I got this amazing lotion & same sent perfume downstairs from the spa that I've wearing right now that smells delicious! I don't know if I can get it in NY so I think I'm going to be another bottle before I have to go back home tomorrow. lol

Well I'm going to go relax a little more because today is going to be a long day. I'll check in with you guys from the shoot. I'll be on my twitter =) xo

We love Erica Anenberg!

I'm chilling in the hotel room taking it easy cause of my photoshoot tomorrow. I got my fake bake spray tan today which is AMAZING! I look like I went away to an Island it's such a nice tan. Tomorrow will look even better after I shower. I'll be nice and sunkissed haha. 

One of my amazing publicist Lauren had some Erica Anenberg jewelry sent over to my hotel room for me and mom to look at. Yesterday all my publicist were wearing different pieces from her collection and her stuff is sooooo pretty and different! One of my fav things that I got was the double bow ring. It's the ring thats on my hand in the pic. Sorry about the flash in my face I was trying to get a pic of the ring next to the fake bake tan.. lol. I got a couple different double rings actually. My mom picked out some stuff for herself and we got some pieces to take home to my sister as well. I can't wait to give them to her! =) We all got initial necklaces to. So cute!! 

Well tomorrow is the big day! Gotta get those press pics right! I'm really excited! I talked with the photographer on the phone a little bit ago. We're shooting with Bradford Rogne. SUCH a doll!! He's going to be a pleasure to work with he was sooo sweet over the phone! Makeup is going to be done by Garret Gervais. He did Britney's circus stuff and her ad for candies and of course my amazing hair stylist Ms. Amalia Moscoso! It's going to be a great day. I'm taking lots of video and will be twittering from set tomorrow! 

LA is treating me very nicely!! Thank you everyone for being so sweet to me! Love you all!! xoxo

Let's play dress up

 Today was such a fun day! I had to do some photoshoot prep and Taylor brought over such amazing pieces!! I seriously loved every single thing that he brought over and that was only the 1st pull!! I want to take everything home with me to NY. I already was getting ideas for red carpets and events! It was fun playing dress up. We had such a great time! My mom Taylor and my two amazing publicist Lauren and Alexis were having a ball laughing it up. I got some video it's hilarious!!!

Earlier in the day Carlene K came by to do my makeup. She does the pussycat dolls. We did a fresh face today which is the pic I'm sharing with you guys. 

Just got word my publicist that Fake Bake is one of my sponsor's for this years bullrun. Tomorrow they are coming by to spray tan me! Can't wait their products are amazing!! I'll take some before and after pics so you guys can see it in action! ;)

Before my meeting this afternoon about the shot I did a "little" shop on sunset with my mom.. Wanted to share some things that I got. Last time I was out in LA I saw these Oliver People's sunglasses and I didn't go in and try them on but this time I went in and got me a pair and seriously I think they are my fav pair of glasses that I have have! They are like a rose gold colored frame with these deep rose lenses. I was obsessed with aviator glasses, still am they are one of my fav styles, and these kinda have the same feel. LOVE EM! 

Also had to share this really cool bag that I got at this store called traffic. The designer is Bodhi. I have never seen anything like it. It's so different. The pink part is patent leather. They have great cloths there to. I picked me up some nice pieces ;) 

So a little bit about the meeting. Funny I'm writing this blog when today I had a meeting at my PR's office with this stylist Taylor Bass. SUCHHHHHH a sweetheart! He was right on the money and we got along like we've known eachother forever already. lol I'm so excited for the shoot on thurs! Working with Taylor is going to be a blast!! I was also going over my sch. with my publicist and July is going to be TIGHT! I'm traveling a lot so my days are going to be extra long just so we can stay on sch and get everything in that we need to do. I'm officially confirmed for this years Bullrun New York-Austin!! This will be my 4th time running in the rally. I literally get back from LA and probably like not even a week before we head off for it. I'm prepping for shows now and it feels like literally as soon as I come back I'm performing. My first show is July 24th in NYC! 

I'm about to finish my tea and head off to the gym guys. Will check in with you in a few =) xo
