Let's play dress up

 Today was such a fun day! I had to do some photoshoot prep and Taylor brought over such amazing pieces!! I seriously loved every single thing that he brought over and that was only the 1st pull!! I want to take everything home with me to NY. I already was getting ideas for red carpets and events! It was fun playing dress up. We had such a great time! My mom Taylor and my two amazing publicist Lauren and Alexis were having a ball laughing it up. I got some video it's hilarious!!!

Earlier in the day Carlene K came by to do my makeup. She does the pussycat dolls. We did a fresh face today which is the pic I'm sharing with you guys. 

Just got word my publicist that Fake Bake is one of my sponsor's for this years bullrun. Tomorrow they are coming by to spray tan me! Can't wait their products are amazing!! I'll take some before and after pics so you guys can see it in action! ;)

Before my meeting this afternoon about the shot I did a "little" shop on sunset with my mom.. Wanted to share some things that I got. Last time I was out in LA I saw these Oliver People's sunglasses and I didn't go in and try them on but this time I went in and got me a pair and seriously I think they are my fav pair of glasses that I have have! They are like a rose gold colored frame with these deep rose lenses. I was obsessed with aviator glasses, still am they are one of my fav styles, and these kinda have the same feel. LOVE EM! 

Also had to share this really cool bag that I got at this store called traffic. The designer is Bodhi. I have never seen anything like it. It's so different. The pink part is patent leather. They have great cloths there to. I picked me up some nice pieces ;) 

So a little bit about the meeting. Funny I'm writing this blog when today I had a meeting at my PR's office with this stylist Taylor Bass. SUCHHHHHH a sweetheart! He was right on the money and we got along like we've known eachother forever already. lol I'm so excited for the shoot on thurs! Working with Taylor is going to be a blast!! I was also going over my sch. with my publicist and July is going to be TIGHT! I'm traveling a lot so my days are going to be extra long just so we can stay on sch and get everything in that we need to do. I'm officially confirmed for this years Bullrun New York-Austin!! This will be my 4th time running in the rally. I literally get back from LA and probably like not even a week before we head off for it. I'm prepping for shows now and it feels like literally as soon as I come back I'm performing. My first show is July 24th in NYC! 

I'm about to finish my tea and head off to the gym guys. Will check in with you in a few =) xo

Morning!! =)

This jet lag thing is def a pain in my tush! I meet up with one of my good bullrun rally friends last night Rachel Deadman and I felt like such the party pooper because my body was on NY time and by like 11pm I was down for the count. I haven't seen Rachel in almost a year so it was nice to catch up. We grabbed a drink in my hotel at the sky bar and the went over to foxtail for a little dancing but I didn't last very long.. lol However 6 am I was up staring at the ceiling =/ I look so tired in that pic! haha I have a nice tan going though woohoo! 

So today is a pretty light easy day. I just have to go over to my PR's office to see my publicist's Joyce & Lauren and meet the stylist for my shoot on Thurs. and just go over some details for it. I'm really looking forward to it. Momma la's coming with! She's going to meet the west coast crew for the first time =) Before we head over there I'm going to show her around town for a little bit. She told me flying into LA that she hadn't been here since she a little younger then me. I'm playing tour guide this week for her. The weather is beautiful to and since NY has been a mess I'm looking forward to all the time I can get outside this trip! Not to hot and not humidity ;) 

LA...

Got to LA a couple of hours ago.. Flight was relaxing! My mother is no longer a Virgin America Virgin.. As the captain liked to call it.. lol I watched Doubt with Meryll Steep on the plane. It was a great movie!! I have to say that I was very much in doubt and couldn't make up my mind at the end of it that's all I'm going to say. If you haven't seen it I suggest you watch it. I had no desire to see it actually and when I was scrolling through the list of movies on the plane my mother was like oh I heard that was very good so I gave it a shot. What the heck I had 5 1/2 hours to kill and I was pleasantly surprised. I have yet to get to watch the reader yet like I wanted to. =( 

Right now I'm hanging out in the room. Here's a lil pic of me chilling on the couch.. I must say that the mondrian has very comfy couches in their rooms. The fact that I'm tired right now makes them extra yummy! I'm so pissed because my twitpic isn't working on my Blackberry. It won't let me upload photos for some reason. I really hope I get it working while I'm on the trip because I want to share stuff with you along the way. I won't be able to get to the comp all the time to upload pics and that is such an easy way to do it quick. This will have to do for now. 

tonight I'm just taking it easy. tomorrow I have a meeting at 3 and that pretty much with map out my sch from then until fri when I head home. I'm going to actually try and take a nap now. Catch up with you guys in a bit =) BIG kiss from La la land ;) 

Leaving on a jet plane

So tomorrow I am off to LA again for about a week. My flight is 7:30 in the morning. I'm running errands all day today before I head to Westchester later in the day. My mom is going to come with me for this trip so I'm going to stay at her house and leave for the airport together in am. I just finished all my loads of laundry and am slowly packing.. lol I have to straighten up the apt before I head out that way when I come home everything is nice and tidy. I have some things to do with my Publicist's and a big photoshoot later in the week on thurs. Getting some more press photo's done which we are using for ad's and the new website design which is looking awesome! The launch is going to be very soon! 

I just got word from one of my radio promoters that "Let You Know" got its first official radio ad on WDRE for next week!!!! Thats huge cause it doesn't even start to get worked to radio until next week and it's already picked up by a major station! Woohoo!!! Also I'm confirmed to perform at the stations HUGE summer concert August 15th with a bunch of other amazing artist!! I just got the news yesterday so as I get details on the venue and everything I will post on all of my sites!! =) 

ok, off to finish! Hope everyone in NY is finally enjoying a day without rain!! haha

Still in Shock!

I can't believe what happened today! Both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson will both greatly be missed! Two icons in pop culture both taken on the same day?! Crazy!! Even though I was thinking about it on and off today and I was running around it's finally sitting and in and hitting me now that yes this actually did happen for real! My choreographer Manwe danced with Michael. I love sitting in rehearsals and listening to his stories about music videos that he as done with him and shows that he was apart of. I'm so upset that I never got a chance to see him live. I can only imagine that way Manwe feels having known him and haven shared the stage with such an AMAZING performer. Being a dancer myself I have always looked up to Michael and his talents since a very young age. Music seriously has lost something truly special that I don't think we will ever see again. He changed music as we know it. He changed live performances forever and was a genius when it came to music videos. He set the bar higher and higher with every release! 

I was walking to dinner with my best friend Nicole earlier today. We were walking through the upper west side and seriously every block, bar, restaurant, and car along the way was BLASTING Michael's music. It was so weird and at the same time to look around and see what an impact he really did have on everyone! During dinner every 15 mins or so we would just be like omg I still can't believe it. 

And Farrah Fawcett! Jeeze I LOVEDDDD charlie's angels. I wanted to be one, haha. She was soo beautiful! She aged beautiful! I was heartbroken when I first heard on the news she had cancer and then today, wow! Sometimes when I would get my hair done, even still today when my hairstylist's styles it people say my hair looks like hers when she used to do the flip. It was weird because as I got up from the chair today Amalia goes "look at you Farrah" =( so sad!! 

It's amazing to look at all these two people have done in their career's and here I am just at the brink of starting my journey with mine. I only hope to be as lucky to have even a little bit of the impact both of them had on everyone in the entertainment industry! My heart and prayer's go out to both of their families! Let's celebrate two amazing lives that we had here with us! You both will be greatly missed and never forgotten!

A Bit shoe obsessed! ;)

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a HUGE shoe obsession! ;) Wanted to share with you my recent additions to my collection that I am totally crushing over!! The Balmain Crystal Embellished Studded Sandal. I ordered them from over seas because I couldn't find them anywhere over here. Now you know what I mean when I was saying I always wear heels.. hehe I must say these are actually rather comfy. Go figure.. lol Took this pic on my camera phone so it might not be to clear.

Wow I'm getting really bad with checking in! =/ Despite the rain in NY all has been sunny on my end ;) I have to take another trip out to LA possibly this wknd to do a photoshoot out there and take some meetings since I'll be in town. Right now everything with "Let You Know" is almost ready to go and I'm working on getting the video concept in line for "Souvenirs". 

I just got in from grabbing a quick bit to eat with Roy downtown on west 14th and 9th. I love the meatpacking district! We ate outside and the sun was actually beating down strong there for a second. I'm back uptown now at my place and the clouds are really thick over here. I was planning to go sit on the roof but now I'm not so sure. Might just head further up town and jump in the tanning bed ;) haha I swear I am soooo pale I can't take it sometimes. Not that is has matter with all the rain but its summer for crying out loud! I want that summer glow already! 

oh wow you should see Ferrari right now. We are on like the 25th floor and she's going crazy in the window right now meowing at something. I'm looking and call me crazy but I don't see anything =/ hmm

So I'm thinking tonight since I haven't been in this early in a while I would pop in a movie. I just got the reader on dvd. Crazy I haven't seen it yet but I'm really looking forward to watching it. Alrighty I am off to jump on my couch. My feet are killing me from these new sandals that I just got. I can't tell yet if it's because they are new or they are just going to be that pair that look awesome but hurt like hell. I hardly wear flats and I have some crazy heels in my closet and would seriously rather wear them then these new shoes they hurt me so bad.. haha

Great LA LA Land trip!

I'm heading back home to NY today after being in LA since Thurs. for meetings with PR companies. Glad to say that before I leave I have made my decision and we are going with Joyce Sevilla! She was such a sweetheart and a cool chic! I'm really excited to be working with her! 

We seriously were busy this whole trip in back to back meetings. Also met with my radio promoters out here. The time is almost here to drop "Let You Know" I'm soo antsy its crazy!! lol If you guys haven't been on my myspace check it out (www.myspace.com/Kristineelezaj) because I put up some video stills so you guys can get a sneak peek of it. ;) Hope you like!! 

Right now I'm in the room with dad. He's doing so packing before we head out to breakfast. Roy is getting ready now to. We are going to go to the Griddle Cafe for breakfast. YUMMYYY!! I think I'm going to get me some whole wheat pancakes with bananas. hehe I swear if you guys haven't been there they literally have serving sizes like giants eat there. LOL Roy and dad have never been so of course I had to take them by there before we head out.
