Doing a Happy Dance!! =P

So Pete already let everyone in on the news but I had to drop in a share my excitement for WHAT NUM 6!!!!!! AHHH The song has been in power rotation I think for like a week now!! That's insane!! I'm still trying to believe that it's my song! hahaha I'm sitting in the studio with Brandon Beal right now working on making a new track.. We're doing a ballad right now. Sounds INSANE!!!! I love the way the new material is sounding!! 

I just realized that I haven't eaten anything since early this afternoon and it's a little after 9pm now.. whoops.. Jesse came in before with some crazy smelling onion rings that I was dying for but resisted the urge to pig out on them. They were abnormally huge to! I got video of them thats how freaky looking they were.. lol 

Alrighty back to work for me!! MUAH!

Six Degrees of Kristine Elezaj

Six is a bit of a magic number. Think of all the awesomeness that is related to six. The Porsche engine, cowboy's guns, Dr. J, packs (both beverages and my abdominals), Blossom's best friend, Mickey Mantle (briefly), and half a dozen donuts.

Well, this week 6 has some new importance - it's where ALWAYS finds itself on this week's Party 105 Top 20 chart. Remember how last week it was 11? Well 11 can eat it.

Kristine, well done! I'm writing a beautiful poem for 5 next week because lots of things rhyme with that and I can incorporate my love of chives and taking a dive, so don't climb higher than that! Slow down!

I'm sitting on facebook this morning and I get this email from Pete with the subject title "um.." I'm like oh no what happened.. I open it up and see these ebay links.. Interesting when I open them up I see the promo Cd's that were made for "Always" the original pop ballad album version and all the dance remixes.. Not just one but two different people.. LOL Just wanted to share my first ebay experience with myself.. haha 

Off to Career Day...

It was so cute! The other day one of my baby cousins Michelle called me up early in the week and asked me if I would come in to speak for her class for career day at her school. Her older brother Evan who also goes to same school wanted to ask me as well to come and do his class but he was going to wait and see if Michelle got a yes before he asked cause he felt bad if I was to busy.. Umm of course I was going to be there for them!! My Aunt wrote me and email later when I got off the phone with them telling how excited they were and that Michelle said she was going to bring her camera and then Evan wanted to bring his.. lol too funny.. I'll ask if I can post pictures and show you guys. So funny cause I have no idea what I'm going to say as silly as that sounds.. lol It's kinda of nerve racking to be honest. I'm excited about it though cause this is one of the coolest parts of my job. I get to hopefully impact young kids to follow their dreams and I'm walking living proof that anything is possible when you believe in them and yourself. Hopefully also if there are any parents there they can understand that no dream is to small or out of reach and that they have to be there for their kids and at least them them try anything that their heart wants them to try. Thats one of the biggest blessing in my life that I have two parents who may not have told me at the time they were nervous about the career I was choosing but they stood by me and kept my spirits up and helped make my dreams come true. Even when things get hard they are always in my corner cheering me on helping me pick myself up and making me stronger. Well thats my little pep talk for today.. lol ;) 

Let's talk about this weather NY is FINALLY getting!!! The whole April showers bit def got a little ridiculous this spring... lol This weekend out here it's suppose to be in the 80's! WOOHOOOO.. I'll be up in Westchester enjoying the weather for sureeeeee! Going to be hanging with my two friends on sat night for a much overdo girls night out. Next week it's a heavy duty work week. Getting the next single all ready for mixing and mastering so we can get that bad boy out for your ears to enjoy asap! ;) Hey if anyone has heard "Always" on the radio would love to hear from you!!!

Good Morning NEW YORK!

Congrats to Kristine slamming the top 20 chart at Party 105! I actually heard her this morning working my computer speakers as I streamed LIVE radio. Awesome Kristine!

Such an awesome feeling to see the song doing so well at radio!! The next single is going to be dropping soon! I've been working non stop the last couple of weeks on the new material getting ready to come out. Also in meetings about the music video for the next single! So today I got some AMAZING news!! Found out that "Always" went into power rotation out in Long Island on WDRE!!!!!!!! I just want to thank everyone out there who made the song get into this position!! I have the best fans in the world!!  You guys made my week!  Love all of you!!!  =)

I love men's magazines. I think that I'm bettering myself by "reading" them, but in reality, they just tell me that my abs are not washboardy enough. Besides their bicep lecturing, skinny jean reviews, uber-fast car breakdowns that I'll never own and discovering that I don't properly maintain my t-zone, they all have one consistency that I believe truly sells them. Super hot girls.

Today I poured myself a cup of Sumatra and decided to see what I was doing wrong in the foot wear department, and maybe read a review of Crank 2 - so I clicked on PureStyle Magazine. Well right there in the Men's style section of the home page was their life-blood, a overly smoking girl...wait....is that.....AAAHHHHHH! Yup, folks it was Kristine. There she was, looking at me in some familiar shots. And guess what? I actually READ the article. It was quite a refreshing experiment. I advise you all to click the links, and check out her interview, you might just find out something about her you weren't aware of, and also learn that you aren't taking proper care of that mono-brow. Trust me....I, too was dangerously unaware apparently.

I'm up in Westchester right now with my fam getting ready for the rest of the crew to get over here.. Sitting in the kitchen right now with my mom and sister Catherine ( or Cattie as I call her ) Just watched her make some lemon bars, yummmmyyyyy!!! Yah my mother is saying "YAH, just watched her!" LOL She's reading over my shoulder right now as I write this.. haha

ok probably time for me to start helping out with preparing stuff! =)

Kristine hit Miami last week for the WMC. That's the Winter Music Conference for people like you and me. She had some tea and did some interviews. You can watch the video on your bookmarked homepage then hit the media section for other videos. I think I'm getting rid of my Showtime package and just watching her videos for the next few months because there is so much entertainment on there. At least until Dexter is back on.

"thought I should let ya know" ....

The last couple of weeks have been go go go.. There has been so much to deal with and so much exciting stuff going on and coming my way. Just finished another shoot and got back the final pics the other day and I'm in love! The team is really pulling out all the stops and I'm having a ball working with everyone! As you guys know I've been in rehearsals and the show is almost done and ready for the road ;) I've been filming A lot a lot so you all could see as much behind the scenes as possible. We revamped some of the routines stepped it up BIG time. Can't wait for you all to see the show! 

"Always" has been doing really well on radio thanks to all of you!! I keep getting great news that more stations are either adding the record or bumping up the rotation!! Thanks again guys you are all amazing!!!

Yesterday I was in the studio with one of the most amazing songwriters EVER!! I was co-writing with the amazing Frankie Storm.. She's written for Britney & Rihanna to name a few ;) Finished writing a SMASHHH yesterday to one of Brandon Beal's beats called "Let You Know". (myspace.com/brandonsmusic) He is such an amazing talented producer! I love his stuff and am looking forward to working together in the future. I have to lay down the final vocals on tues night in a session. I'm writing with Frankie again Wed. afternoon to another extremely talent production team's beat The Arsenal (myspace.com/thearsenalmusic) The suspense is killing me to see what we are going to come with!! 

Well in all of the excitement that has been going on with rehearsals, meetings, and studio session I have been lacking just one thing especially this last week and thats sleep.. So I'm going to go curl up on my sister's bed cause I'm spending the wknd up at my parents house for Easter. Hope you all have a great Holiday weekend!!! Check in with you all soon!! ;) xoxox
