Just got in not to long ago from a crazy workout! I'm am beat for the rest of the night.. lol I've been gearing up getting ready to head back into rehearsals. We are revamping the show for touring this coming spring!! WOOHOOO 

Really excited I've been getting great feedback that Always is doing really well on the radio and getting more adds for other stations! You guys have been awesome calling in and requesting because we're making moves ;) THANKSSSS SOOO MUCH!! I'm going to post a list of more stations and info where you can call and request if so we can get even more spins and radio play happening. In the meantime keep the request coming into pulse every little bit helps even if your not in the NY area. 

I was extra tired today because I was up in the studio until extremely early in the morning working and recording with Tony Sunshine. For those of you who may not know who is (i doubt it though ;) ha) Tony is an amazing R&B Vocalist/recording artist who you may remember had the num 1 hit with lumiee "She's like the Wind" remake in 07. I'm really excited to get to be in the studio with him because he has such an amazing talent and has been in the business for so many years just last night alone I learned a lot. Not to mention he is also an absolute sweetheart!! I'll post some pics up from the session as soon as I get them off J. Marty's camera.. haha 

Alrighty time for me to go veg on my couch and go watch some Sex and the City ( had to throw that in there for pete) but really I'm going to watch it hahah Talk to you all soon! ;) MUAH!

Monday Action!

Got some site updates. A new video is posted with a look at Kristine's test shoot last week. It has everything from bikinis, to horrific plane crashes. Pretty standard.

I've made it easy to get to her site with that link below. Keep your eyes off Kristine and on the video link. I know it's difficult, but try. After listening to Pulse 87.7 so much, it's changed my views on some general life philosophies. If you don't go directly to the video link and just do figure-8's with your mouse as you gawk at Kristine you may be someone who is a "habitual seducer of women", AKA a Womanizer. Look, you'll love the vid, Kristine even points out where we saw 100+ people fashion a boat from an antique A320 "airplane". The decided to do this on the coldest day in New Amsterdam history....down the Hudson. A polar bear and stop motion figurine of Rudolph passed them on an ice flow.

Crazy day today!.. Was on set today doing the test shoot that I was telling you all about when I get a phone call from my mother on one of my breaks. She was asking me if I heard about the plane that just went down on the west side in the hudson river. I was like ummm wait a minute?! I looked out the window from my living room and saw the US Airways plane that went down probably like two seconds after we walked in the other room sitting in the river with all the rescue boats already at the scene. Seriously it was the weirdest feeling seeing that I got major goosebumps. Anyone who knows me knows that I have really scared of flying! haha.. I don't scream during take off or anything it has taking me up until recently really to start being calm and just relaxing while flying. My mother is actually a million times worse then I am. She actually screams LOL If I was one of those people I would have had a serious heart attack!! 

All in all though as a work day the day went really well. We got some great shots which I can't wait to post for you guys to see. ;) It's almost 12:30pm and up until a minute ago I was wide awake, ha. I think I am going to turn it in for the night. Getting up early to hit the gym whoo.

Well this is officially one of the best feelings in the whole world hearing yourself on the radio. Yesterday I met up with my best friend Nicole for lunch to catch up and have some girl time. On the way driving home she was behind me and called my cell to tell me that she just called pulse and requested always. As soon as I get into the driveway and step out of the car she calls me back screaming to turn on the radio cause I'm on! LOL Not only that but they used her requested my song on the air. Nothing like best friends HAHA

KEEP THE REQUEST COMING!! =) Thank you everyone who has been calling and writing in requesting me! You guys are doing an amazing job! All the support is awesome! You guys rock!

So I don't know if you guys have checked out the website lately but there is a new video message up there for you to check out. Getting some prep done for the shoot which is tomorrow actually. I went outside once today and ran back in as quickly as possible. I think it's safe to say this is the coldest day of the winter so far. BRRRR!!! Sitting in a tub of ice cubs is probably warmer then being outside in NYC today. haha

I JUST HEARD MYSELF ON THE RADIOOOO!!!!! I don't even know if I heard myself really because I was screaming through the whole song along with the rest of my family in the room with me! I spent all day listening to pulse! I heard the new music promo add that they ran playing my song as well. It was such an amazing feeling!! My phone is almost dead from all the phone calls and texting going on. I even had some of my friends over seas in London listening to the radio online. haha Now I have to figure out a way to calm myself down so I can get some sleep before meetings and conference calls tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who called and wrote in requesting always today. If you could continue doing that and spread the word that would be AMAZINGG of you all! If any of you guys heard it as well PLEASE write me and let me know what you thought =)

As for the whole Larry Flynt thing.... hmmmm Pete I swear I would never umm yah.. :/ LOL!!

So funny because I was showing my mother the blog and we were reading your entry together and when she saw the pic you took of the site she was like wow thats nice look at you! Right up there next to Larry! LMAO! I almost fell off the chair at the island in my parents kitchen laughing hysterically! =P Well at least I have a good story to tell now.

No but in all seriousness this really was amazing! I've always wondered what it would be like hearing myself on a major station for the 1st time. Everything I have dreamed up about that moment was so much more when it finally happened!

Kristine Elezaj on the Radio...

I was just driving along, minding my p's and q's, listening to dancing music on New York's dance station as I usually do at 10:17 on Monday when it happened. Our favorite song, "Always", came blaring through my speakers. She can rock it friends. Just then I pulled in to my cottage mansion, and looked on my computer and let me tell you friends I was shocked.

Let me tell you about a little conversation I had with our dear innocent Kristine prior to signing my contract with her.
P-Mizzie "Kristine, you are really talented, and have a beautiful voice."
K-Dizzle "Thanks Pete. You going to eat those fries?"
P-Mizzie "Let's make one thing straight. I'll do this, but you have to promise me by the hammer of Thor, you keep it classy. No racy stuff. Only the clean life. I have taken an oath and by Geepers I live by it."
K-Dizzle "Are you alright?....."

A YEAR later, while listening to Kristine on the radio, I decide to go to the website. I scroll down. I see her name. And not 3/4" of an inch away....yup - Larry Flint. Well my core is struck down Kristine. It's struck down.


CONGRATULATIONS KRISTINE!!!! AMAZING WORK!!! Folks, this is only the beginning. Remember where you were.

Video Builds the Radio Star.

We all remember Kristine's holiday message on her site way back in 2008. Ahh....classic Christmas memories. In those days, I use to have lug ice from my stainless steel computerized ice crusher all the way ACROSS the kitchen island to my electronic martini shaker.* You kids don't know how easy you have it. But just like all those brownish, fire-hazard trees get tossed out to the side walk, it's time to move on. And how! K-tastic has promptly posted a new video message on her super-site, kristineelezaj.com. Dot com! And being award season and all, she's tried to put something for everyone in there. There are shoes for the ladies, bikini talk for the guys and a stunning soundtrack for everyone.

I know all of you have downloaded ALWAYS from iTunes or Amazon already, but let's say you are driving the New Jersey turnpike to grab a late night cheese-steak in Philly when it hits you - "For the love of Snoopy, I forgot my iPod! Dang-nabb....oohh is that gum?" Simply turn your radio to Pulse 87.7 New York's dance leader and start biting that upper-lip. Try to keep the car between the lines.

Lazy day

It's snowing again in NY and I'm spending a lazy day with Ferrari on my couch and popping in Sex and the City. I think I've seen that movie a million times already and I love it more every time I watch it.. I can hear pete couching from here, ha. My dad called me earlier and he's down in Florida and it's suppose to reach 80 down there today. So weird the difference between here and there the same time of year. I would love to be by the water right now. That's my fav! 

Yesterday my stylist Ariel and I finished all the prep for my shoot on Thurs. We went through and got all the looks together and took pictures of them so the day of. I'm really excited about this shoot and can't wait for you guys to see all the new shots. =) 

Again I'm still on cloud nine about the add of "Always" to pulse on Mon. Really funny I have to go out and buy a little radio to put in my apartment so I can listen to it monday night! My mom was making fun of me back in Nov. when an add for my show was running on z100 everyone heard it but me because I didn't have a radio in my place. lol When I think about it though it never dawned on me to go and get a radio. So starting Monday everyone has to call in and request Always on Pulse 87.7!! They are also adding the song to their music promo commercials and making it the pick of the week next week! 

Alrighty before I go and get my lazy sat. movie day on I am going to go for a little run on the treadmill upstairs ;) Talk to you all soon!

Strike A Pose*

The first work week back after the new year has been a busy one to say the least. I've been in meetings on my phone and running around the city like a mad woman. So good to be back in action after the long vaca. =P 

Today I am prepping for a shoot that I have next Thurs. I'm going to be in fittings all day and also shooting some new vid's for you guys to check out on the site. I'm really excited about this shoot because the concept is way cool & is going to be A LOT of fun!! I think Pete is probably taking a bow somewhere right now.. ;) 

In other news the BIGGG news of the week which I just received late last night from my manager is that Always is officially going into rotation on Pulse 87.7 this coming Monday!!!!!! If there was an once of sleepy in me when I got the news I think I screamed it right out of me as well as all my neighbors. haha So tell everyone you know to hop on the phone and request request request pretty pretty please!! 2009 is seriously going to be a great year!

ok I just got back from dinner with pete and my dad not to long ago & while at dinner pete's like. "hey did you check out the blog entry that I posted earlier?" and I was like um no actually I'll check it when I get home. So I just popped on and just took a glimpse at Pete's entry and seriously think I almost passed out from laughing hysterically at the way he wrote that entry!!!!! HILARIOUS PETE!!! I would have just called you and told you how funny you are but you know your Pete Michels & I had to share my hysteria w. everyone!...  Seriously I'm surprised you couldn't crack the hieroglyphics that is "facebook" ;) what gives?! 

But seriously it was actually really annoying. This morning pete and I were trying to figure out how to make it easier for all of you to get on your facebook and join the blog app. but apparently EVERYTHING else in the world is easier then that! lol Well all that laughing actually just added to my tummy ache that I got because of dinner. Who knew that my salad would make me feel so dumpy.. argghh alrighty Kriss- out

Creating, building and adding a blog application to Facebook is much like dismantling a bomb. I know there are large groupings of preteens doubling over in laughter as they read this because they build these things on their iPhones as they drive down PCH and carry on a conversation how the color mauve is plotting to ruin their lives. Ready for 2009!

2009 is finally here!! Can't believe how fast the last year actually went. Just wanted to wish everyone a very happy new year! Hope everyone had a fun New Years Eve! =) I just got back down to my apartment yesterday. Still getting settled in after all the holiday madness. I had a great time with the family though. I didn't realize how much I missed being home. There seriously is no place like home. Today I'm just getting ready to set up next weeks events. Everyone is slowly getting back into the swing of things and getting back into town. It's funny the city is really quite. 

Next week I'll have a little more to report after all the meetings commence. =) There is a lot lined up in the pipe line for this month. New year, new beginning!
