Here are some of the new shots that I did before I left for Barbados last week. This was a really fun shoot! I got to work with my good friend and absolutely amazing photographer Roberto Rabanne. Of course Mr. Pete Michels was the brilliant art director behind shoot that day. WOO! haha

My 1st Billboard Article!!!!!!!

I can't believe it, my very first article in Billboard Magazine!!!!! AHHH What are great way to step into the music business press wise then being the in music bible. haha I've been on cloud 9 since yesterday still in shock that its actually in there. I was interviewed for it a few weeks ago and had no idea that it would be printed in the mag as fast as it was. I thought if anything Sept. possible if it would even get written up at all.. What an amazing feeling!! My manager Denny scanned it for me so of course Im going to share it here with you. ;) 

I was surprised when I opened up the mag to to see that I even had a picture in the contents sections haha Wow greatest feeling ever! haha

Also more great news. I am officially starting to tour in Sept!! HURRAYY!!! I am going to be opening up for artist Chris Willis doing all of his east coast dates =) I'm officially up on my agency's website as well (www.cegtalent.com) Can't wait to get started! I've been straight to work in rehearsals with my Choreographer Manwe gearing up for the shows. My dancers come back into rehearsals next week.. I can't wait to see them! I've missed them so much since our last show. 

I just got back from Barbados the beginning of the week. I was down there working on the last song thats going to be on the album. Production was done by Cardiff Giants. Seriously one of my fav songs on the album.. Can't wait for everyone to hear it! The rest of the album is in mastering as we speak. Just got a text from my ex. producer J. Marty that the whole album is officially mastered except one song. WOOOO Can't believe how far we've come! I've been enjoying every moment of this! It really is a dream come true. I'm just happy that I got the opportunity and then to actually see if coming to life and moving forward the way it has been is a feeling I wish I could explain. 

Well I know there will be much more very soon to share with you guys. I'm taking it easy today as I was a little under the weather yesterday =( Must have been something I ate, or I just got a little to over excited.. haha Hope your all well!!

Has it been that long??

In the midst of everything going on these days I didn't realize that I haven't checked in and touched base in a few weeks. Thats so bad =/ 

Well today was actually a weird day. Got up this morning and it still looked like it was the night before. The sun wasn't up and it looked like it was going to rain until the whole city was under water. Needless to say it did rain but only for 20mins and then the sun started peeking out. Very strange. Really messed with my energy today. I had rehearsal today downtown and after getting up to that mess I felt like I was going to work at midnight. 

I'm back in rehearsals with Manwe getting ready to head out for some spot dates on tour with whom I don't know if I can officially give up the goods here but it is "official" that you will see me on the road starting in Sept!!! =) Just for sept I am going to be doing the whole east coast!! Can't wait I'm ready ready ready to go go go! ha I've been back in rehearsals for the past 2 weeks. My dancers are getting back in with me when I get back from Barbados. I have to head down there on Friday to finishing working on the last track for the album. I'll be down there for the weekend and heading home on monday. =) I've never been before so I'm really looking forward to going. I'm so thankful that I get opportunities to go and work in places like that. I really have a great team! Yup, I'm one lucky girl! 

So on a personal note I got a cat. Yes, her name is Ferrari. haha of course ;) If you were wondering why I have the pic of the cat in this entry. Yes that's my girlie! I actually have had her for I think 2 months now. I got her from the shelter in NYC. She was 7 months old and to cute! I can't believe that people could just give up animals. I wanted to take the whole shelter home with me. It breaks my heart seeing them all locked up in there. So needless to say Ferrari is already spoiled. I was in LA in mid July and found the cutest hoodies for her. ha Yes sick I know putting my CAT in clothing. She's looking at me right now trying to hit the keys as I type. It's taking me extra long to write this because of it. 

Well I'm going to hope off and go make myself some dinner. I'm hunggrryyy.. Oh and before I forget. Keep an eye out on the websites (official, myspace etc) I've been prepping for a photoshoot the past week, which is happening this wed. All the sites are going to be getting a makeover. Expect new stuff and updates soon!

in la la land! ;)

Sorry it's been a couple of days since I last checked in with you guys.. The work week last week just had me cramped. I had a TUN of meetings, all of which were long (haha) but very excited and eventful. 

I flew into LA yesterday morning early. This time I'm actually in LA more for pleasure then work. I flew in for two very very dear friends of mine that I do the bullrun with every year. They are twins and it's their b-day. =) It's going to be fun to cause normally with everyone's sch. it takes a while for some bullrunners to reunite but this weekend it's going to be nice to see some familiar faces for the event. I feel bad that Dad couldn't make it out here with me this time. He is all over the place with work himself. 

With work and everything back home and jumping right back into it since bullrun I didn't realize how the time difference from just heading out to LA was going to really affect me. Major jet lag right now. haha I'm sitting in bed actually waiting to get some breakfast and then I'm going to hop down to the gym for a bit..

What up!!

Today was a loonnnggg day! This week kicked my butt with workouts! I had my first experience with a spinning class bright and early.. Umm yes I am addicted but probably not a wise thing to do when I worked out my legs the day before and I'm sore as ever! ha Seriously if you haven't tried it though I would def recommend it. SOO MUCH FUN!! I went with my manager Denny we got our work out on. I should probably take tomorrow off from working out however I booked myself another spin class in the am.. Call me crazy probably not to wise. ha

Pete & I at the Island....

Pete and I decided we are taking a vacation from work and going to a tropical paradise.. There is a lot of beautiful gray and black granite and tuns of fresh fruit! Running water not to far, right at our finger tips. Pete's lounging with the most amazing view of downtown behind him... huh what downtown?? Oh yeah were sitting at my kitchen island.. hahaha So Pete's reading the latest issue of vanity fair. He claims he was reading the article on Bill Clinton.. umm yeah Angelina Jolie is on the cover? Right Pete! We decided since were at the island that we would go out for fresh fish tonight. Some toro sushi is in order!! HELL YEAH! 

So you can probably tell that we've had a longgggg day at work! ha I just got back from some meetings. Let me just say GREATTT DAY!! I will possibly be coming to a city near you and you and you! ha Will be posting the dates real soon promise!

Ok Pete hasn't eaten all day so he says and looks like he is about to eat my cat. We have to go feed him now. Will check in later ;)

More importantly, how about that news from Kristine's earlier post, eh? Shows. And a bunch of them. My friends, you don't want to miss a chance to see Kristine perform. It's a sweet show. This girl can sing and dance the hell out of her songs. It is a sight to see. Keep checking back to all her sites for upcoming performances. Amazing. I've been to a couple and I was bobbin' my head, and moving my feet in unnatural ways. I don't dance, but when she was on stage it was out of my control. People were scared of me. A doctor came up and had a grave look under his brow. "I can't stop! Help!" I cried. He fumbled to go for his bag, but then his hand started to move uncontrollably, then his head side to side like a sprinkler. No one is safe.

This week I am going to be posting on all my sites some performance dates that I have coming up. HUrrayyyy!!  I am booked for 14 shows so far!! =) I'm soooo excited! I have a meeting with my agent this week and am jumping right back into rehearsals. My dancers and I can't wait to get out there and perform the material off my debut album for all of you. Just wanted to give you all a heads up to keep checking out the websites so you know the dates are coming...

Just wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes and making yesterday one of the most amazing birthday's ever! I had a blast with my family and friends yesterday!! I have such awesome people around me I'm really blessed!! =)
