Happy Tuesday!

It's been a great beginning of the week so far! Today especially was a busy running literally all over the city for different meetings in the rain but everyone was everyone we had sit down's with where so much fun it made the day fly by. I'm gearing up for some sessions & will be heading back to LA soon while I was getting ready this morning I was doing some vocal exercises and practicing running through some of these new tracks. I'm also nearing the end of getting over that swollen vocal box situation so gotta keep working out my voice every second I can! ; ) Especially with plane rides coming up to top it off I have to be extra careful to take care of myself. Hate that my body is so sensitive like that, grr.

First meeting of the day with a lunch meeting at one of my fav spots in NYC Cafeteria with the senior editor of In Touch Magazine. Side note I had been talking about going to Cafeteria for the last couple of weeks because I was having a major craving for their buttermilk biscuits. Sorry major foody moment.. lol Their so yummy so high five for the meeting being there, HA! Then my publicist David and I were off to meet with the senior editor of Shape Magazine. Their new offices are all the way downtown a little below chelsea piers. I love it down there but I don't really go that often. The only time these days are if I have some sort of meeting in that area. I should visit more.. Both women were so very sweet btw and a lot of fun to hang with! It's so awesome meeting people in this business that just have super energy. Everything just flows & your spend a majority of the time laughing. I read Shape a lot to. I'm a workout nut and love trying different things to challenge my body. Always learning no matter what it is ; ) Before I knew it the day really did just blow right by..

After the meetings were done I went back with David to see all the girls up at the NY PR office. Weird that I live in NY & I hardly get up to that office. Funny in LA if I have any down time you can probably find me at EFG office on Joyce's couch in her office. That's my mamabear :D Love my publicist!

Good thing about this day I finished earlier then I thought so now I get to relax a bit. Have an event tomorrow I'll update you guys on and I'm still prepping for the show I have for the Illyria Gala on sunday. Soundchecks and all with the rest of the weeks madness.. ; ) Seriously love what I do makes me so happy!

Yigal & Rent the Runway

Meant to post this the morning after but check out the Yigal Azrouel event I went to the other night with Rent the Runway. Yigal's store looked gorgeous as did all the pieces from his collection. The jacket I'm wearing I actually got that night it's super cute! I have to take a better picture of it so you guys can see the detail. : ) Cool thing about this piece is that you can wear it open and draped or it does this really neat thing where you can button it up across eachother where you get a cool cowl neck happening and finish it with a belt. Can't wait to wear it the right way! I had just popped it on for this pic and doesn't help that I have a sweater on underneath so it doesn't look right. lol

All in all it was a great relaxing evening out in the West Village with friends!

Sick but full steam ahead!

So every since I was little whenever I would feel extremely nervous or stressed out I would get silent reflux. Now that I'm older since I just found out apparently that when I get bad colds or sinus it triggers it.. Lucky me! I'm in the middle of all of these sessions, heavy music grind with new material etc & with the weather changing in NY I of course hit a little speed bump and get a sinus infection which in turned triggered my damn reflux & now the top of my vocal box is inflamed, again! lol You can just imagine this would make me freak out but I'm trying not to stress out about it. Luckily I have an amazing doctor who is on top of the situation with me to get me back in tip top shape! ; ) My biggest problem is trying to not strain myself & rest while I'm going over practicing and working on the new songs. On the bright side I've been able to really focus on some business things and meetings while I'm gearing up to throw myself back into studio mode!

Right now I'm getting ready to head downtown for an event with designer Yigal Azrouel & Rent the Runway. I've been a big fan of his designs and he now has a new contemporary line CUT25 that is to cute for words! For those of you who don't know I am a HUGEEE fashion junkie : P Really blessed that I'm at a part of my career that I'm available to be apart of these events. Lucky lucky girl for sure! The rest of the week into next I'll be doing a lot of sit down's with magazine which I'm really excited about! I'll try to be an extra good girl and blog more through it all ; )

Speaking of lucky I was sitting back earlier this morning and reflecting on everything that I have been through in the last couple of months and I'm really in an amazing place. I didn't share with you all at one point after the holidays I was going through a stressful time and I'm really proud of the woman that I've become that I'm able to see the light even in dark and not so comfortable situations. My life's lesson as many of yours might also be is patience. I've switched gears and learned a lot of how I want to live my life, do business and who I'll let really get that close to me. I'm in a really amazing place in my life right now and more then anything I'm protecting my soul. I have some really amazing people around me now both professionally and personally and I'm going to bed a night maybe a little over tired but excited for the next's days adventure with a HUGE smile in my heart. Sounds cheesy but I really wanted to share that with you guys. Especially since all of you have a lot to do with that happiness! You are making my dream a reality and making it grow every second! I can't wait for the future and to see where this journey will continue to take me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! -xoKEBE

I've been lego'd

I've posted this on my twitter and facebook account a few days ago but HAVE to post it here again! My fans are seriously the most amazing and super talented.. I don't even know how you begin to animate & edit lego's to move like the music videos.. lol So impressed with Pedro Xavier who makes these for artists! Back on the Blog

Can't believe my last post was on my birthday last year! :/ I've been meaning to for awhile now update you guys here on everything thats been going on and have just got so sidetracked with work that I haven't taken the time to sit down and get back to this blogging! Some much has happened, of course everyone has seen that the Warpath video is out and gaining more momentum ; ) Thanks for that!! All your support means the world to me!!

I love staying connected and in contact with you guys so I'm going to make a better effort at keeping this blog alive!
